Hello and Welcome to Pet Doula LA,
When a cherished pet reaches the end of their life, it can feel like everything is falling apart. They weren’t just a dog or a cat — they were your constant companion, your family member and your steady source of comfort. Even when it’s the right choice, saying goodbye is incredibly hard. In fact, it’s the hardest part about loving them. As a Certified Death Midwife and Non-Denominational Funeral Celebrant since 2008, and a Pet Death Doula soon after, I’ve supported both humans and animals through these tender transitions. Guiding people and their pets through the sacred journey of farewell is the true purpose of my heart.
As a lifelong animal lover and rescuer, I understand both the immense joy our companions bring and the deep ache their passing leaves behind. My own experiences with loss have shaped a compassionate, grounded approach—one that prioritizes dignity, comfort and meaningful goodbyes. Together, we’ll create a space of grace where your beloved companion feels safe and deeply loved, and we’ll craft a heartfelt ceremony or remembrance that honors the life you shared.
It is my greatest honor to walk beside you during this sacred time.
With love, always,
Because love asks us
to stay until the very last moment.
—Lisa, Pet Doula LA
